I believe healing begins when women have a space where they can be honest about what they have experienced, how it has affected them, and what they want their lives to look like moving forward.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (OH, NC, SC), the Founder and Clinical Director of Becoming H.E.R. Wellness Collective.
I work with women navigating trauma, intimate partner violence, narcissistic abuse, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, emotional dysregulation, and significant life transitions.
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed perspective that shifts the conversation from “What’s wrong with me?” to “What happened to me?” Understanding how experiences shape thoughts, emotions, relationships, and coping patterns can create space for something different. From there, we explore: “What do I need now?” and “What do I want to do differently moving forward?”
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I incorporate evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, motivational approaches, and trauma-informed interventions. Treatment is individualized to each client's needs, experiences, strengths, and goals.
My educational journey began at Tiffin University in Ohio, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Administration. I later attended “THE” Case Western Reserve University, where I earned my Master of Social Work degree and strengthened my commitment to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, heal from difficult experiences, and create meaningful change.
Beyond my graduate education, I completed extensive postgraduate clinical training, supervised practice, and state licensing requirements to earn independent clinical social work licensure in Ohio, North Carolina, and South Carolina. I am currently pursuing licensure in additional states to expand access to compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care.
Through Becoming H.E.R., my goal is to help women better understand themselves, challenge patterns that keep them stuck, strengthen their voices, and intentionally create lives that feel healthier and more aligned with who they are becoming.
